A full floating line with a short (7?), clear, intermediate tip section merging into it.

The sinking tip eliminates leader wake on the slowest retrieves, and reduces the angle that the tippet makes with the fly line.

The high visibility floating section helps detect subtle takes and the taper allows for good long-range presentation.

The Wakesaver is suitable for a whole range of techniques like static nymphs, wet hoppers, loch-style drifting and fishing suspender buzzers.

Even dry fly fishing can be revolutionised when the surface tension prevents the leader from sinking and the fish are spooked.
